John Gaworecki has been collecting trains for 50 years. In that time he has developed an extensive collection of Lionel trains, including many rare pre- and post-war items. John is an expert on variations and his collection reflects the depth of his knowledge. John’s operating layout is pure Lionel fun with many operating accessories and long trains winding their way around the table. Watching the trains run brings us back to a time when trains were magic and we dreamt of owning all that Lionel or Flyer produced! Serious collectors won’t want to miss this opportunity!
Lew Buchspics is a man whose hobby is now his job. After working at IBM's Essex Junction chip plant for many years, Lew now earns his keep working for QSI Solutions, a company providing electronic devices to make our hobby easier and more fun to enjoy. Lew's layout is a multi-tiered "O" Gauge display, featuring a city of Department 56 buildings and trains ranging from post-war to the Acela.
Jon Brooks says he's a guy who was "born too late". He was born too late to be a baby boomer and enjoy the great post-war era. But he's made up for it by playing Oldies on his morning radio show, and building his modernized version of a typical post-war layout. On it you'll see both old and new Plasticville, Lionel accessories, and Post-War Celebration Series trains running in a Command-Controlled environment.
